Tinnitus management is a challenge.
One reason is, that tinnitus can be a symptom of a wide range of different underlying pathologies and can be accompanied by many different comorbidities. This is clearly indicating the need for comprehensive multidisciplinary diagnostic assessment.

In this context the TRI Tinnitus Clinic Network* has developed the "TRI Flowchart for Patient Management" based on careful literature research, performed in August 2008 and further updated since then.
